The Adaptive Dance program shares the joy of dance with students ages 6-25 with special needs.  We offer multiple levels based on age. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of its students, taking into account their emotional maturity, attention span, and developmental stage. The class offers instruction in jazz, hip-hop, and creative movement and results in one performance routine during our annual recital. The adaptive dance program fosters independence, confidence, cooperation, strength, and coordination. Each class allows a safe environment for students to develop friendships and gain self-esteem. 

Spring 2025 Schedule: April 29-June 10, 2025 ​Tuesday

5:15-6:00 Beginner Adaptive(age 7-10) An introduction to dance concepts and the dance classroom structure and setting for individuals of all abilities ages 7-11. 

6:00-6:45 Adaptive(age 11-15)  A dance class for students of all abilities ages 11-15, with physical support available as needed. 

6:45-7:30 Adaptive II(age 11-15)

For students ages 11-15 looking for a more technical class in the adaptive setting.
