A performing arts program that offers affordable adaptive singing, dancing, and acting classes for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Special Stars is dedicated to helping each individual discover their own personal strength, talent, and potential. Students learn to express themselves through creative group music and movement activities while gaining confidence and appreciation for the arts.
Special Stars is now doing Pop-Up Events!
What is a Special Stars Pop Up Event?
– It is a two hour themed event broken down into a 1 hour Special Stars Class followed by a 1 hour social event, including light snacks and drinks, music, games and fun! The goal of this monthly pop up is to still offer our well known performing arts classes, but follow it with a chance for individuals and family members to hang out and socialize together in a fun and welcoming way.

–Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm
- November 20th- Thanksgiving Theme
- December 18- Christmas Theme

What is the Cost of a Pop Up and How Do I Sign Up?
– $15 for Pre-Registration (please note that this is non-refundable)
- If you wish to pre-register, please e-mail Samantha Kuczun (specialstarsprogram@gmail.com) your individual’s name and let me know how you wish to pay. Payment must be received and in my hand no later than the Monday before the event. (For example, if you wanted to pre-register for the September Pop Up on 9/25, payment is due by Monday 9/22.)
- Cash, check or venmo is accepted. Please be aware that pre-registrations are non-refundable.

-$20 at the Door
- If you wish to pay at the door or payment has not been received by the Monday before the pop up, the cost is $20 and will be collected at the door, at the start of the event. Please note, this will be CASH ONLY.
Is there a Minimum and Maximum Amount of Individuals?
– In order for the pop up event to run, we must have at least 10 individuals pre-registered for the month.
-There is NO maximum or need for a waitlist. The more the merrier!
