Hello, bird enthusiasts! Diego Benites, an intern with the Let’s Go Birding program will be presenting/hosting the event.  The event also includes a guided tour of the site’s environmental history.

🗓️ When: August 30th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with guided tours at 9:15, 10:15, and 11:15

👥 Who: Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious about our avian neighbors!

🌳 Activities: Immerse yourself in the world of birds with tactile models, arts and crafts, and a captivating bird call introduction.

👚 Attire: Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.

🌟 Experience: No prior birding experience necessary! Beginners are warmly welcomed, and we’ll have binoculars and sensory aids available for everyone.

♿️ Accessibility: Saugus Iron Works offers accessible parking and bathrooms. Most activities will take place in the main courtyard area, featuring paved walkways and open grassy spaces. Picnic tables and benches are available for those who need to rest.
