Waypoint Adventure challenges people with disabilities to discover their purpose, talents, and strengths through the transformative power of adventure with fully accessible recreational programs and activities (e.g. kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, etc.). Their kayaking program is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Our highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or further develop your existing ones!
The Waypoint Outdoor Kayaking program will give you access to some of New England’s most beautiful lakes, rivers, and coastline. Enjoy the fun and serenity of the water all while being part of a supportive community. Benefit from the wide array of adaptive kayaking equipment and instruction designed to meet your individual needs. Our highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or further develop your existing ones. All kayaking programs will be custom designed to fit the needs of you and/or your group.
Location/Directions: 299 Wood St., Hopkinton (Whitehall State Park) *SITE MAY CHANGE DUE TO PARK STAFFING/WATER QUALITY CONCERNS
Conditions: The Whitehall Reservoir is a large relatively calm lake with an abundance of inlets and islands to be explored! Motorized boats are allowed, however they are regulated to stay below 12 MPH and are mostly fishermen trolling about.
Bathrooms: There will be an accessible porta-potty on site.
What to bring:
- Water bottle
- Sandals with a heel strap or sneakers that you don’t mind getting wet
- Sunglasses with a strap
- Sunscreen
- Hat
