Join us for Burlington’s 31st Annual Family Fishing Festival! This event is great for the whole family. Festival is catch and release only. You may bring your own fishing equipment or use the equipment that will be provided. Fishing licenses are not required for the festival. Please be sure to pre-register!

Parking for the event
We will have a shuttle going from the Middle School to the reservoir and back.
– The shuttle will be picking up from the Middle School on the loop off of Peach Orchard Rd.
– The shuttle will begin at 9:30 am and run until 1:30 pm.Due to limited space on the shuttle we are asking that, if possible, drivers drop off their family at the Reservoir before going to park at the Middle School.The entrance to the reservoir can be found off of Winter Street (next to the Water Treatment Plant). There is no parking area here so we ask that you please park at Marshall Simonds Middle School.

**Please note, there is a small hill to climb to get from the Water Treatment Plant to the reservoir. Only the shuttle (not cars) will be allowed up this hill, so any family member who might struggle walking up the hill should take the shuttle.

Inclusion Services:

• We offer inclusion support services in all of our year round programs. Anyone in the Burlington community who would like to attend a program offered through BPRD may request inclusion support.
• How does Inclusion Support work at Burlington Parks and Recreation? Burlington Parks and Recreation utilizes a group inclusion model and 1:1 support is granted only on an as-needed basis, pending assessment by the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and pending staff availability. 
• What does Inclusion Support look like? Inclusion support is a process designed to increase independence within programs over time. Inclusion support will look different for each individual participant! The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist will utilize a comprehensive inclusion support assessment to determine which support strategies may work best for that unique participant.
