A Professional Development Opportunity for Educators!
Educators will learn practical, student‑centered strategies for strengthening student voice in the transition IEP process. The day will introduce a clear framework for using transition assessment, preparing students for meaningful participation in their IEP meetings, and applying real‑world practices that support individualized postsecondary planning.
Key note speaker: Kelley Challen, Ed.M., CAS, is a nationally recognized transition specialist with more than 20 years of experience helping students with diverse learning and developmental profiles plan meaningful paths to adulthood. Kelley will offer practical, evidence‑based insights to help educators strengthen student engagement and build effective, student‑centered transition planning practices.
