About

The Lurie Center for Autism invites you to join Marcy Kingsbury, PhD, for a presentation and discussion on the role of the gut microbiome in individuals with autism. Topics covered will include commonly observed gastrointestinal issues and symptoms, how the microbiome is shifted in ASD, and how diet shapes the gut microbiome and GI health. Dr. Kingsbury will also discuss the new research frontiers currently being explored to more accurately assess the role of the microbiome in ASD.

Coffee Convo presentations are offered monthly. All events are conducted virtually, free of charge, and open to the general public. Follow the link below to confirm your registration for the April event. The event meeting link will be sent to registered participants the day before each event.
